Abstract: This paper offers an in-depth scholarly examination of Rabindranath Tagore’s philosophy of universal humanism, exploring how his literary works, educational reforms, and socio-political critiques shape a vision that transcends national, cultural, and religious boundaries. Central to Tagore’s thought is the primacy of human dignity, empathy, and interconnectedness, foundations that resonate through his poetry collection Gitanjali, his approach to holistic education at Santiniketan, and his critique of narrow nationalism.
