Abstract:
The essay proposes to study Amish Tripathi’s Sita: Warrior of Mithila (2017) as a representative voice of Indian Feminism. More specifically, it will dwell on the author’s holistic and non-dualistic approach to feminism. My contention is that the concept of purush-prakriti harmony rooted in ancient Indian philosophy is one of the key concepts/ theories that distinguishes Indian feminism from Western theories of feminism.
