Literature, in particular, stands on the threshold of profound transformation. This paper examines the intricate relationship between AI and the evolving landscape of literature, analysing how this powerful technology is reshaping creative expression. The study seeks to illuminate both the promising opportunities and critical challenges posed by AI, particularly about authorship, readership, and the fundamental nature of narrative itself. Given the rapid progression of AI technologies, understanding their potential impact on one of humanity's most enduring forms of cultural and creative expression has become increasingly essential.
