Editorial Policy

Ethical Guidelines for Authors

Authors submitting to IJELS must adhere to the highest standards of ethical publishing. Manuscripts should be original, free from fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism. Proper acknowledgment of sources, accurate data reporting, and responsible authorship practices are mandatory. Submissions must not be under consideration elsewhere.

Plagiarism Prevention

IJELS follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submitted manuscripts are screened using standard plagiarism detection tools. The similarity index must not exceed acceptable limits (generally below 10–15%, excluding references). Manuscripts failing to meet this requirement are rejected or returned for revision.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors, reviewers, and editorial board members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its evaluation. IJELS ensures that there are no conflicts between governance, editorial decisions, reviewers, and authors. Transparency in disclosure is mandatory to maintain academic integrity.

AI Generated Content Policy

IJELS has a clear policy regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Authors may use AI tools for language enhancement or assistance; however, AI-generated content must be properly reviewed, verified, and disclosed. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of the submitted work. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
